That’s my goal. I used to attend a church where they seemed to try and speak as fancy as possible and I was routinely lost lol. I promised if I ever got a chance to talk to people I would do the opposite

This is such a great read!!! I like how you it make it so relatable. I’ve made mistakes in the past; but sometimes they like to rear their ugly heads every now and then. Thanks!!

I am so glad they didn’t have a camera on every person growing up or me and my friends could never be president because of what we did for a Klondike bar. I am happy for forgiveness

This was great! Its a good reminder that we all have times that we make mistakes, but God is always right there ready to continue loving us and provide the redemption we need. You did have me cracking up about your wife and that cupcake though! lol

Thank you for this powerful message. It’s so special.

In his book, Managing Your Emotions, Erwin Lutzer wrote a chapter about Peter’s horrific failure, his excruciating regrets, and Jesus’ restoration of him. Reading that chapter drastically changed my life. What a gift! Your post here is a gift, too, reminding me of God’s gracious forgiveness and restoration. And then He says “Go minister to my sheep.” In other words, not only are you forgiven, you’re given a role in His work among people. What Grace!

That is a great way to look at it. Don’t take your forgiveness and redemption and hide it. Go out and tell of his goodness and how he changed you. That is an excellent lesson
